TOTALLY TAOS (NM)

I LOVE Taos. My heart belongs to Taos. It’s the sort of place that when I’m there, I feel like I’ve lived there my whole life. I went on a lovely trip with my godmother and wanted to share some of the photos. Taos, NM is a place I see myself growing old. Enjoying the warm sun on my skin, eating delicious food and feeling completely one with nature. Now, Taos may not seem wholly hygge, probably because it’s not necessarily a place where you think of being “cozy.” In the summer, it’s hot! You may not want to be anywhere near a warm fireplace or a pair of cozy socks, and that’s ok. You don’t always need those things to be hygge. Sometimes, you need the fresh air and the serenity of a place largely untouched by our modern conveniences. Feeling closer to my roots is part of my security blanket. My family roots keep me warm and cozy, and living my best hygge life. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend a trip to visit this beautiful place and the amazing people that call it home.
